Scooter World 2019 – going, going, gone!

If you’re thinking of entering your scooter in the annual January ‘Scooter World’ show at Newark Showground over the weekend of January 5-6, 2019, , then you’d better be quick as there are only 10 private entry places and three club stand vacancies left!

The format of the scooter halls worked so well for the 2018 event that these halls have been filling-up faster than the rest of the overall show; consequently, once the remaining vacant space is gone – it’s gone (and that includes the trade stand space as well).

Come into the main scooter hall and you’ll be greeted by a selection of pristine scooters, displayed courtesy of the various clubs and independent riders from across the UK. Interspersed amongst these will be the ever-growing amount of related displays and trade stands. Mod Radio will be returning as the central focus of ‘retro revival’ halls, where they will again sit on the peripheral of the centralised ‘chill-out’ refreshment/café area. The ‘fire-up’/‘ paddock’ hall hit some unforeseen issues beyond the control of the event organisers last time, but these have been addressed for 2019 to make the area a much more pleasurable experience.

100mph scooter wants you at the show!

As a regular attendee, 100mphscooter will again be showing in 2019; they have asked us to help them this year, as the normal organiser has been experiencing some unforeseen personal problems. The club can still be contacted via normal avenues, but there may be delays in responding, so to help speed up communication, former champion sprinter, Frank Osgerby, has offered to step in to help – so you can copy the  form below and email it to f.osgerby@btopenworld.com, or alternatively send directly to Mau (mauspencer@classicscooterist.com).
